We are pleased to announce that we now have an adoption program in Haiti!!

Both married couples and singles between the ages of 35 and 50 are eligible to adopt from Haiti. The crèche we work with requires that adoptive families be Christian. The most important requirement is that families must be genuinely willing to accept, love and take care of the adopted child.

Hope Journey Update:

Check out our newest Hope Journey Camp that took place at the end of April 2010 at Bao an orphanage in Guangdong Province. We were given 35 children for ASIA to place with forever families. ASIA feels strongly that there is a family for every child, so take a look and see if one of these children could be the child you've been waiting for! Visit the password-protected waiting child section of our website, or get some information about the program on our blog: www.asiahope.blogspot.com Help us make their dreams of a forever family come true!

ASIA believes every child deserves a family.  These are the faces of the children that keep us motivated to try to find them families. They each want a family of their own and we're trying not to disappoint. Do you see a child that could be yours in one of these pictures?  Please help us find these older children their forever family.

Are you worried about adopting an older child?  Click here to read an article from Adoptive Families about how this option can work in your family.

Welcome to Associated Services for International Adoption (ASIA)

At ASIA, we believe that every child deserves a loving and nurturing home. We have specialized in adoptions from China since 1995. ASIA is registered with the Chinese government as an authorized child-placement agency and has been entrusted by the Chinese Center of Adoption Affairs (CCAA) to seek adoptive families for children of special needs as well as children considered healthy.

In November 2007 ASIA opened a program in Taiwan, working with a well-respected foundation in Taipei to facilitate special needs and non special needs adoptions. See Taiwan Adoptions to learn more.

ASIA's experienced and dedicated bilingual staff works closely with families through each stage of the adoption process. We take pride in our personal service, high ethical standards and attention to detail. Our adoption travel groups are escorted by our bilingual staff or country guides. While we support and abide by all adoption laws, regulations and specific country requirements, we do not judge prospective parents by rigid standards based on factors which are not directly related to their ability to parent a child who needs the love of a family.

In February 2008, ASIA received its Hague accreditation which is valid through February 2013. ASIA firmly agrees with the intent of the Hague Intercountry Adoption Laws. ASIA will not knowingly work with any agency or person with whom ASIA has reason to believe has engaged in or is associated with the exploitation, sale, abduction or trafficking of children. ASIA will make all reasonable inquiries regarding partner agencies and persons.
