The Taiwan agency will voluntarily provide a child's information that includes medical report, family background, birth certificate and photos. The Taiwan agency will distribute, at the same time, the above information for matching to all adoption agencies with whom it works. This process is intended to shorten the waiting period for the child's placement.
ASIA will only allow home study ready families to view the harder to place waiting child list. For any adoptive family working with ASIA that wants to adopt a harder to place child, ASIA will promptly email their home study to the Taiwan agency. The Taiwan agency will match the child to the first home study received and advise other cooperative agencies to stop matching.
