How
You Can Help

I
want you… to
give.
Mission
Statement
Associated
Services for International Adoption (ASIA) exists to create
a better future for abandoned or
orphaned children in foreign
orphanages through adoption, to provide cultural support
for these children and their adoptive families and to increase
cultural awareness
on inter-racial adoption.
As
it says in our mission statement, above, ASIA’s first
priority is to place children in loving homes through adoption.
But as you can see from our mission statement we do have
other priorities, and we organize other activities to aid
in fulfilling
our mission. To pay for these activities we rely on donations
and fundraisers. To see what we do with donated funds that
don’t
go to general operating support, click on the “ASIA
Gives Back” button above, or check out what’s
happening with special needs and Waiting Children by following
the “Special
Needs Fund” link next to it.
Right
now, ASIA is in a period of transition. As you can imagine,
it takes a
lot of time and money to start a new
adoption program
in Taiwan. We are currently raising money to help underwrite
the start-up costs of this new program. As many of you
know, part of
the reason we started a new Taiwan program is because
fewer people are choosing to adopt from China. We are exercising
fiscal restraint
here at the office, and we are asking for help from our
donors in order to avoid raising fees for adoption or
letting
this
period of transition affect our customer service. To
learn more about
donating to the general fund and
Taiwan, click on “Current
Campaign” in the bar above.
Every
donation helps. Be it time, money or the donation of materials,
you can share
in furthering our mission.

Charitable
donations will not in any way affect child placement decisions
nor give preferential treatment
to
any client.
ASIA reserves the right to refuse to accept any gift
or donation.
