Welcome to the section of our website dedicated to ASIA Families. This area is designed as a place where you can educate yourself about all of the important steps to complete an adoption from China or Taiwan. Here you will also learn about the latest news from ASIA as well as confirmed news about adoption. The referral and travel updates will tell you how long the current wait is for referrals and travel to China or Taiwan. The Paper Chase section describes all of the specific documents that are needed to compile your dossier and includes some helpful checklists to get started. Surviving the Wait describes what happens to your dossier after it is submitted to the country and includes some ideas to prepare you for your adoption while you are waiting. The Travel section describes what you will need to do when you receive your referral and travel approval and how to prepare for your adoption journey. The Post-Adoption section describes what is important to do after you return with your child and also some links to helpful post-adoption resources.

Even though we've tried to include as much information on the adoption process as is beneficial, we are always trying to improve our services to our families. We encourage your feedback, comments and concerns at any time during the process. We promise to address your concerns in a timely manner. We'd also like to assure you that sharing your constructive concerns will in no way negatively impact the adoption process.
