ASIA Gives Back
Jane and brother

Children are an essential part of our world. If there were no children, if we could spring into being fully formed, can you imagine what we would be missing? Joy, wonder and awe would be in pretty short supply.

People adopt because they cannot imagine their lives without a child. But when adopting, parents are faced with a difficult truth: many more children need families than we can provide. This is one reason ASIA gives back to China's orphanages at every opportunity. Whether it's through surgeries for children with correctable special needs, through the Love Without Boundaries Nutrition Program or by giving equipment and money directly to the orphanage, we do it so that the lives of the children who may not know the love of a family are somehow better.

Sometimes families want to give back to China because they are grateful for their child, and for the care their child received there. ASIA is happy to help families who want to direct their donations this way. We never take administrative costs out of donations restricted this way. Another way ASIA gives back is through services for families who have already adopted. Marci has information for families looking for referrals to therapists all over the country, and is always available to answer questions. We assist families whose children need special attention by looking for funding options for them.

We offer workshops and panels on topics for families who have adopted or are in the process, and we plan on continuing our new educational programming. We would love to hear your ideas for future workshops. To share your ideas, contact Marci at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
