PLEASE NOTE: The orphanage fee, the fee charged by CCAA in Beijing and the miscellaneous legal fees in China are established by current Chinese adoption policies and U.S. immigration regulations.
Miscellaneous Expenses
It is important to note that there are other miscellaneous expenses you should anticipate during the entire adoption process. These expenses include, but are not limited to: fees to obtain original or certified copies of various legal documents, medical examinations for adoption applicants, passports and Chinese entry visas for adoptive parents, unanticipated medical costs for the adopted child, travel expenses of the adopted child, insurance, re-finalization of the adoption in your home state, phone calls, postage, taxes, etc.
ASIA's Refund Policy: All fees are billed for each portion of the adoption service provided by ASIA and are non-refundable.
ASIA's Policy Regarding Returned or Dishonored Checks: ASIA charges $20 for each dishonored or returned check or payment made to ASIA by adopting parents.
