I am a native born Chinese who has been in America for twenty years, mostly in the Portland area. The love for my native land and the opportunity to help orphaned children to find loving and caring homes and the chance to bring more humanitarian work to developing countries brought me to ASIA, where I hope to be able to make a contribution to both. I have worked as a Chinese teacher, an accountant and financial analyst. I have a personal interest in baking and cooking. But the most important and challenging job I have had is being the mother of an active and wonderful twelve year old boy. Without parental guidance, children are struggling in darkness. We are their light and hope, and they, in turn, are a light and hope for us.
